Unfortunately we cannot accommodate our full guest list on-site but there are lots of nearby alternatives!
If you’re looking to book transports, there are several local taxis recommended by Markree Castle.
Markree Courtyard
While a separate business, Markree Courtyard and Carriage Rooms are within the castle estate and offer 10 bedrooms within walking distance of the wedding venue.
Sligo Park Hotel
A 15 min drive from Markree, Sligo Park is on main roads so on a good taxi route.
It also has a pool and leisure centre, and that bit closer to Sligo town if you’re looking to extend your stay.
Dargan Castle Hotel
This is technically the closest accommodation (approx 9 min drive) and has a golf course, however this is on some country roads if this is an influencing factor!
A 20 min drive, this is on a good taxi route and a great base if you’re looking to head out to Rosses Point or deeper into Yeats’ Country.
It also has a pool and spa if you’re planning your recovery for Monday.
